Camping San Francesco is on the south side of Lake Garda and enjoys a stunning view from its beach – a beautiful mountain backdrop with the picturesque medieval fortress of Sirmione in the foreground. The tree-lined shore provides a perfect and shady place to relax and the shallow water around the pebbly beach area is ideal for a cooling dip. A jetty provides an excellent platform for launching boats. The popular bar and restaurant terrace has a good view of the lake with a spectacular night time vista of shimmering lights from the far shores. Our tents and mobile homes are all situated together in the wooded camping area, just a little back from the lake. This camping area is linked by a pedestrian underpass to the splendid swimming pool, sports and entertainment complex. At night in the high season this becomes the venue for the popular family entertainment. There are boat tours from the nearby towns of Sirmione and Desenzano and these are ideal for visits to the traditional villages dotted along the shores of Lake Garda. This region has excellent transport links to the splendid cities of Verona (45 minutes) or Venice and Milan (2 hours).
