The warm
and welcoming atmosphere of Les Deux Fontaines guarantees that you
immediately feel at home on this well laid out and spacious
campsite. The grassy pitches are surrounded by a variety of
vegetation including wild figs, lavender, olive and apple trees,
giving this pretty campsite an exotic feel. The bar terrace and
restaurant have a relaxed ambience and during high season this area
becomes the venue for the family evening entertainment. The swimming
pool complex has a 4-lane water slide, water chute and whirlpool and
the indoor pool will be a welcome addition in 2010. The more
energetic can engage in the various sports such as tennis, football,
golf and archery. A 15-minute stroll along a country path leads to a
beautiful secluded beach and 2 minutes’ drive away is a public
slipway from which boats can be launched. Footpaths along the rugged
coast connect beaches, creeks, sandy inlets and tiny harbours, such
as Port Manech’ and Pointe de Trevignon (for a stunning sunset).
Nearby is the pretty town of Pont Aven, made famous by a generation
of post-impressionist artists, including Gaugin.
