Just
10 miles from the historic town of Annecy, Camping Les Fontaines is
located amidst the green Alpine meadows and towering peaks of the
Haute-Savoie. There are stunning views from all areas of the
campsite, but especially from our 2-bedroom mobile homes that are
located on the higher terraces. Our tents and 3-bedroom mobile homes
are situated in the lower camping areas. This small resort has some
good sports facilities and an amazing swimming pool complex. Next to
the modern bar/restaurant is the newly refurbished main pool with a
covered area linking to the outside pool. In a separate location is
the 4-lane slide, a water chute, an exciting children’s pool and a
jacuzzi. Near the campsite you can pick up the cycle path linking
Annecy to Doussard, which is a pretty little town just 3 miles from
the campsite. Here you can stroll through the natural wilderness of
the beaver reserve, or head down to the water sports centre for
tuition and boat hire. The crystal clear lake is fantastic for
swimming, with diving platforms and grassy sunbathing areas. The
mountains provide for superb walking and all manner of exciting
sports are available, such as summer luging, paragliding, canyoning
and white water rafting. |
