The north
coast of Brittany is a region of rocky headlands, clear water, and
tiny offshore islands. Overlooking the bay of Morlaix, Village Les
Mouettes has developed into being one of the best campsites in
Brittany with a superb range of facilities and excellent customer
service. Many of the sporting activities are free, including
football, basketball and table tennis. The main attraction is the
magnificent pool complex, complete with 3 high water chutes, lazy
river, jacuzzi and sauna. The indoor pool area incorporates a lazy
river and a jacuzzi. Once a week during high season, the outdoor
pools are open at night so you can brave the water chutes in the
moonlight! Our spacious pitches are all conveniently located in the
same general area of the campsite. Only 300 yards from the campsite
is a small rocky beach, whilst the nearest sandy swimming beaches
are the Plage du Kélenn and the Plage du Clouët, just 2 miles away.
As an alternative, at low tide, go across to ‘Ile de Callot’, which
has beautiful sandy beaches. Just 9 miles from the port of Roscoff,
Carantec is a charming seaside resort with distinctive Breton stone
buildings, a 16th century maritime fortress and superb
restaurants.
