Just north
of Paris, on the banks of the river Ainse, La Croix du Vieux Pont is
a top-quality campsite with
plenty for everyone.
The restaurant is
a converted farmhouse with the bar terrace overlooking the swimming
pool complex. The outdoor pool area will be completely re-built for
the 2010 season to include a children’s pool, lazy rivers, fountains
and a waterfall. The heated indoor pool area has a retractable roof
and includes a main pool, slides, chute and whirlpool. There are
many other superb facilities at this spacious and well laid out
campsite, including 3 lakes, for fishing (carp and trout), canoeing
and swimming. This is a large campsite in a beautiful parkland
setting, which is ideal for cycling. Some of our mobile homes are a
10-minute walk from the main facilities. This campsite provides an
excellent base from which to explore the natural beauty of the Ainse
region of Picardy, with its châteaux, World War I battlefields,
ruins, forests and waterfalls. For the more adventurous there is
canoeing or quad biking amongst other things. With weekly excursions
to Paris or Disneyland Resort Paris, this is the perfect destination
for short breaks or longer summer holidays. |
