South of Pisa the Etruscan coastline is defined by a shimmering sea and wide sandy beaches backed by the beautiful pine forests of the Maremma national park. 9 Miles north of Piombino, Park Albatros is a large and spacious campsite set in 30 acres of cooling pine forest but only a short distance from the beach, which is across the road from the entrance. The campsite boasts a swimming pool and 3 large lagoon pools, fine restaurants, a bar and a pizzeria. The varied evening entertainments are held at the impressive stage area near the swimming pools. A holiday here is all about lazy days on the beach or by the pool combined with wonderful sightseeing in towns like Sienna, Pisa or Volterra. Excursions to Rome, Florence and the beautiful island of Elba are also organised. San Vincenzo is a 10-minute drive away and has good shops and a disco for young teenagers. The delightful Bay of Baratti with its excellent beaches and Populonia’s hilltop castle with stunning views of the coast are also nearby. If you need a rest from all this culture, visit the Aqua Village water park at Follonica or nearby Cavallino Matto theme park for some rollercoaster fun.

Prices in £ to include 2 adults and up to 4 children.

Arrive and Depart on any day. Minimum stay 3 nights.

Prices include any mid-week saver return fare Dover-Calais with P&O Ferries or SeaFrance. For supplements and other crossings, see our Travel Guide. (click here for the Travel Guide). Deduct £50 if you don’t require a channel crossing.

Extra nights will be charged from night 4 according to the season in which they are taken.

Extra persons £8 per person per night, where permitted. Baby pack £4 per night.
