New to our
programme for 2008, we are delighted to be working with this
fantastic campsite on the beautiful Etruscan Coast. 9 miles north of
Piombino this spacious campsite spreads over 30 acres of the
beautiful Maremma pine forests, which form a backdrop to the wide
sandy beaches and a shimmering blue sea. The nearest beach is just
over 500 yards away. The campsite has a swimming pool and a large
lagoon pool, some excellent sporting facilities and a cosy
restaurant, bar and pizzeria. A holiday here is all about lazy days
on the beach or by the pool, interspersed with some wonderful
sightseeing to places like Florence, Sienna, Pisa or Volterra.
Excursions are also organised to Rome and the beautiful island of
Elba. Nearby is the delightful Bay of Baratti with its excellent
beaches and the hilltop castle of Populonia with stunning views of
the coast. If you need a rest from all the culture why not visit the
Aqua Village water park at Fallonica or the nearby Cavallino Matto
theme park for some rollercoaster fun.
