With its
continually good reputation and easy access to Venice, Ca’ Savio
remains a very popular site with Venue customers. Situated in
beautiful mixed woodland, the atmosphere is one of relaxation
enhanced by a truly international clientele. From the campsite there
is direct access to a broad, sandy beach that shelves gently into
the sea and is safe for young children. The main swimming pool
complex (with 3 separate pools) is situated near the excellent
bar/restaurant and the imaginative children's play area. The other
complex is in a quiet area under the pine trees at the rear of the
campsite. A full sports programme and a range of evening
entertainment are organised by the friendly and efficient staff.
Just outside the campsite entrance is a beach bar which provides a
popular meeting point for older children and the little town of Ca’
Savio is only a short walk away. If the lure of Venice isn’t enough,
there are many other fascinating islands to visit in the lagoon,
such as Burano, famous for its lace, and Murano, with its glass
blowing factories. The more secluded island of Torcello has a
beautiful church. |
