An hour and a half south of Nantes, Camping La Plage at St Hilaire-de-Riez is located between the modern resort of St Jean-de-Monts and the charming fishing port of St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Across the road from the campsite entrance a path leads you through the dunes to the wide golden sands, typical of beaches in the Vendée region. La Plage is a friendly campsite with a relaxed and unmistakable French atmosphere. Our accommodations are in the same general area of the campsite with our tent pitches all together and our mobile homes pitches divided into two groups. The campsite has an indoor pool with jacuzzi, an outdoor swimming pool and children’s pool, and across the road a separate slide pool with excellent water chutes. There is a choice of restaurants and bars nearby. Baguettes and croissants are available to buy on site in high season and for general shopping there is a large supermarket a short walk away plus some excellent local markets. For an interesting day out visit the Ile de Noirmoutier, which has beautiful beaches, the Océanile water park and the Sealife aquarium. A little further away is the excellent Puy du Fou theme park for some Medieval style fun!

Arrive and Depart on any day. Minimum stay 3 nights.

3-night prices include a mid-week saver return fare Dover-Calais with P&O Ferries. All other crossings will be supplemented (Click here for our Travel Guide). Deduct £50 if you don’t require a Channel crossing.

Extra nights will be charged from night 4.

Tourist tax is not included in the price and €0.55 per person (over 12 years) per night will be added to your invoice.

Extra persons £8 per person per night, where permitted.
