From
sleepy villages to glamorous resorts, the contrasting delights that
the Côte d’Azur has to offer are all within easy reach of this quiet
family-run resort. Set inland from the coast, Camping Les Pins
Parasols is an attractive campsite protected from the Mediterranean
sun by the welcome shade of tall parasol pines. The pool complex is
lined with palm trees and includes a long slide, a toddlers’ pool
and a swimming pool. There is also a snack area where you can relax
and enjoy a drink. The campsite has sports facilities for all ages
and an intimate bar/restaurant. The nearby town of Fréjus, just 4.5
miles away, has a rich, historical background with a well-preserved
Roman amphitheatre. St Raphaël at 6 miles from the campsite is a
delightful resort with street artists in action in the evenings.
Both towns have excellent beaches. The cosmopolitan towns of Nice,
Cannes and St Tropez are less than an hour’s drive away. Further
inland are the fragrant Esterel Hills (home to the famous
perfumeries), the spectacular Gorges du Verdon and the beautiful,
refreshing lakes of St Cassien and St Croix.
